Comprehensive Eye Exam
Comprehensive eye exams are medical exams that allow a complete evaluation of the ocular health of your eyes. A battery of tests are performed to diagnose any ocular medical deficiencies that may lead to the loss of sight or impact the visual pathway. Many eye and vision problems have no obvious signs or symptoms until the later stages. These thorough exams also help to diagnose any ocular symptoms that may actually be a result of an underlying medical condition such as high blood pressure or diabetes. These exams can also provide a baseline for any future trends seen.
Pediatric Eye Exam
A pediatic eye exam is a comprehensive or routine eye exams for our patients 18 years and younger. Our practice examines pediatric patients each day and encourage parents to schedule routine eye exams to develop good vision in both eyes so they can function as a team. Being farsighted (hyperopia), nearsighted (myopia)or having astigmatism, pediatric eye exams are necessary for correct developmental vision, ocular health and visual perceptual skills. Contact lens fittings are necessary to ensure that each patient who desires to wear contact lenses has the most proper fit with a lens that is best for individual curvature of the eyes.
